The 19th International Symposium on Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering (CMBBE 2024) will take place in Vancouver from 30 July to 1 August 2024. Over the years, the CMBBE Symposium has provided a platform for networking and exchange of cutting-edge research and projects.

The Symposium will explore the latest advances in computational approaches to biological and medical problems will be explored through lectures, poster sessions and networking events, from molecular modelling to health informatics, including computational biomechanics and computational bioimaging.

Within the symposium programme, the event features some special sessions, which represent the traditional element focusing on new areas of research and developments in the field including, among others, “Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics” and “Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering”.

Within our consortium, the team of Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE) will attend the conference and present some of our latest results on the generation of aortic stenosis patient heart valve geometries and blood flow modelling. The session details are the following:
